When I first set out to take my WELL™ AP Exam, a quick Google search left much to be desired in terms of finding good resources to study from. Thankfully, Green Building Education Services (GBES) was ahead of the curve and had started to put together WELL AP Exam Practice Tests. Without those tests, I am not sure I would have passed. That was in December of 2015. Today, just eight months later, there are now several options to choose from. The Poplar Network and BuildingGreen.com both have WELL AP study material, and Green Building Research Institute has just come out with their own as well.
I recently just finished reviewing the GBES WELL AP Exam Practice Tests. Since December, they have continued to make several updates to the practice exams. While still not perfect, I think they are an incredible resource for those looking to become a WELL AP. There are 4 different test pools of 100 questions, all offered at a pretty reasonable price ($79.95). The software allows you to filter the test in different ways as well. When you are taking the practice test, you have the ability to see the answers immediately after each question, or you can wait until the end to see how you did. You also do not need to take an entire practice test and can instead focus questions on areas that you might be struggling with. The true reason why I continue to use GBES, however, is that I have continually been impressed with their customer service. (I also used them to study for the LEED Green Associate) Because of this, I have not tried out any other study material providers. BuildingGreen.com offers a WELL AP Exam Study package for $149, but that also includes a PDF study guide and 4 bonus study matrices. Poplar on the other hand offers 400 practice exam questions – but this one is only $39.99. I am curious to hear from others who I have used these other two. What did you think of their material? My hope is that this blog can become a central resource hub for those looking to study for the WELL AP Exam. What study material have you found the most beneficial when it comes to preparing yourself for the WELL AP Exam?
